Start your day in Berat, where your guide will pick you up at 09:00 and head toward Osumi Canyon on a scenic drive through southern Albania. As the road winds past valleys and ridgelines, you’ll catch memorable views of Mount Tomori, one of Albania’s most sacred peaks.
A quick 10-min stop in Bogovë Village gives you time to breathe in the mountain air, stretch your legs, and get excited for what’s ahead. From there, you’ll continue for 20 min toward Çorovodë, the gateway to Osumi Canyon. Once you arrive, your guide provides all the equipment: wetsuit, helmet, harness, and ropes, before walking you through a thorough safety briefing and equipment check.
When the adventure begins (typically between 11:00 and 11:30), you’ll spend around 3–4 hours inside the canyon discovering its most beautiful surprises: clear flowing water, smooth sculpted rock walls, hidden pools, and thrilling features that make canyoning feel like nature’s own adventure park. Expect a mix of walking in the water, swimming, floating, optional jumps, and rappelling down waterfalls, each one guided step-by-step so you can focus on the fun.
After the final rappel, you’ll hike a short section through another striking part of the canyon to reach the exit. Then it’s time a traditional Albanian lunch, where you can warm up, laugh about the best splash, and relive the highlights before returning to Berat.

Hi! I’m Enea, your canyoning guide and a proud a member of the Albania Rescue Team. I guide Osumi Canyon because it’s the kind of place that still makes me say “wow” even after countless trips and because I love watching guests go from “I’m not sure about this” to “OK WAIT, THAT WAS AMAZING!” 😄
I’ll teach you simple, clear techniques for moving through the canyon, rappelling safely, and staying comfortable in the water. Safety is my top priority, but that doesn’t mean we won’t have a blast along the way!

Worth every cent ! Enea picked us up from the hotel to the canyoning spot. He gave us suits and we had 5 hours of pure fun. The existing pictures don't do justice to how much adrenaline you can have, some jumps make you think twice about your life choices. Enea also had safety in mind all the time and was very reassuring. I strongly recommend doing this activity when visiting Berat because you will see the images from the canyon in all Albanian TVs. You might see some places offering this experience for much cheaper. Those are not really canyoning. After Enea took us lunching in a local taverna, great food and pleanty of it.

Had a wonderful day in the canyon. The guides from Albania Canyoning are knowledgeable and very friendly. They provided excellent explanations and guidance throughout. We saw beautiful nature that you normally wouldn't reach without a guide. The rope descents were spectacular. We had a great time jumping, diving, and swimming. Highly recommended.
