Step into Lemon Gardens, a family citrus garden near Dubrovnik where the Jović family has been growing lemons since 1982. What began with the first Meyer lemon trees has grown into a unique Mediterranean garden with more than 300 citrus trees, 12 citrus varieties, and over 40 years of family care.
Surrounded by lemon trees, oranges, mandarins, limes, yuzu, Siberian lemon, wild figs, and other seasonal plants, you will experience a quieter and more fragrant side of Southern Croatia. This is not a rushed farm visit. It is a carefully hosted garden experience built around nature, taste, privacy, and authentic family hospitality.
There are 3 options to choose from:
Lemon Gardens Taste is the most relaxed option, lasting approximately 1 hour. Visit one garden and enjoy a refined tasting experience on a peaceful terrace surrounded by citrus trees. Taste homemade limoncello, freshly prepared lemonade, infused waters with lemon and mint or lemon and elderflower, traditional Dubrovnik sweets, seasonal fruit, and cake of the day.
Lemon Gardens Discovery lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours and includes a guided visit of both gardens. Learn about the family’s citrus story, discover local lifestyle traditions, taste homemade products, and enjoy interactive moments such as lemon picking during harvest season, feeding chickens, collecting fresh eggs, and sipping a Limoncello Spritz.
Lemon Gardens Signature is the complete experience, lasting around 2 to 2.5 hours. Explore both gardens, enjoy a carefully selected tasting, pick lemons during the season with the possibility to take some home, feed chickens and collect eggs, feed the donkeys, meet and feed the garden guardians Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael, enjoy a Lemon Volcano signature drink, sip a Limoncello Spritz, and take part in a pancake preparation experience.
Whichever option you choose, expect a warm, personal visit filled with citrus aromas, homemade flavors, family stories, and peaceful moments in a beautiful natural setting near Dubrovnik.

Outstanding! Beautiful sights, smells and tastes paired with charming hosts and views made this new experience totally enjoyable. My husband said it was a trip highlight! I’m a baker and the lemon tart was the best I have ever eaten. Their homemade limoncello was delicious and not as strong as ones I’ve previously tasted, and the limoncello spritzer a new favorite that I will do at home. If you have mobility issues: You’ll be walking through the groves, some uneven terrain, stone steps and about six stairs up to the house with a lovely table setting.

Lemon garden experience was amazing! Lovely organic farm with a nice information. The family was wonderful and we really enjoyed the time in farm. We felt like a part of the family when visited their house eating and drinking their homemade lemon recipes. Would recommend to everybody who are visiting near Dubrovnik/Cavtat.
