Your adventure begins in the charming town of Virpazar, where you'll board a scenic boat and cruise across Lake Skadar to the remote fishing village of Karuč. Along the way, soak in panoramic views of the national park, framed by forested peaks and lily-covered waters.
Once we arrive, it’s time to switch gears! Grab your paddleboard and head into the park's most peaceful and untouched areas. You’ll glide through narrow channels that feel like a scene from the Amazon. It’s a paradise for nature lovers, filled with birdsong, lily flowers, and wild beauty. There’s plenty of time for swimming and birdwatching as we paddle deeper into the wetlands.
After the tour, we’ll stop at a family-run fish restaurant where you’ll enjoy a traditional lakeside lunch. Expect delicious fresh-caught fish prepared the local way (with vegetarian options on request), served in a relaxed setting surrounded by nature. The experience ends with a tranquil boat ride back to Virpazar.

Important information
- You’ll need good physical condition for this activity. No prior SUP experience is required
- You must be able to swim at least 50 meters
- No loud music, alcohol, or lily flower picking, we are all about respecting the national park
- Every guests must sign a waiver form before the tour
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Anja's SUP adventures on Lake Skadar are a true experience. She lives by the lake half the year and is an adventurer in winter, so she understands what makes a tour really special. You can upgrade your trip and combine it with other interesting activities and experiences too which is a nice touch. Make the most of your visit to this beautiful place with one of these trips, you won't regret it, five stars!

This was our fifth trip to Lake Skadar, but the first with Milan and definitely the best! He is a man who knows, understands and loves this place and is able to show others its beauty and uniqueness.

It’s clear that he not only knows his work inside and out but also loves what he does and puts his heart into every moment. He guided us in the most wonderful way, making the entire experience unforgettable. His boat was beautiful and spotless, making us feel comfortable and safe throughout the journey. Along the way, Milan pointed out various sights, and we were lucky enough to see a wide array of birds, including the stunning Kingfisher. He even made a stop at a scenic spot where the view was breathtaking. We were beyond satisfied with the entire trip; it was an absolutely perfect and wonderful experience with Milan.
