Begin your private experience at the Sea Gate of Kotor Old Town, where your guide will greet you and lead you through the charming stone alleys of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about Kotor’s layered history, medieval architecture, maritime legacy, and the cultural stories that shaped the Bay of Kotor.
After this hour-long walking tour, you’ll explore Kotor’s famous marketplace, where he will introduce you to authentic Montenegrin products. Taste olives, local cheeses, prosciutto, and more straight from the vendors.
Then, head to a beloved local spot in the Old Town for a tasting menu of traditional bites. Enjoy smoked ham, cheese, olives, fresh local spreads, and black risotto, along with freshly baked bread and two glasses of wine, beer, or soft drinks. In season (May to September), you’ll also taste mussels in Montenegro’s famous “buzara” sauce.
With Stefan (or one of his colleague) by your side, you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, chat about Montenegrin life, and soak up the friendly local atmosphere.
