Join the Leković family for an authentic wine tasting experience in the heart of Montenegro’s wine region. Located in the village of Godinje, one of the oldest rural settlements in the country and now a protected cultural heritage site, this family-run winery has been producing wine and spirits for over 300 years.
You’ll be welcomed by your host Misko at the family home, where you’ll be invited to taste four locally made wines: white, orange, rose and red wine, rakija (grape brandy), and a family-made liquor. Each sip is accompanied by local bites, Montenegrin cheese, olives, prosciutto, olive paste and homemade biscuits.
As you sip and savor, your host will share stories of the family’s winemaking heritage and the village’s medieval architecture, which includes stone houses, narrow alleys, and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Learn about the history of the nearby Grmožur island (once a prison, now a bird reserve) and discover how the Leković family is working to revive village life and preserve their proud winemaking legacy.
This is more than just a tasting, it’s a heartfelt cultural experience that will leave you feeling connected to the land, the history, and the people of Montenegro.

Great experience! Very tasty snacks and 4 delicious glasses of wine (more than tasters). Maja is a very friendly hostess with knowledge of wine, art and the area. To finish, she serves brownie with 4 different degustatives. An absolute must! Ps. At the end of the winding road you have a parking lot. There is a path up (left) and one towards the village (right). Go right and walk about 50 meters, then you will come across it automatically.

Lovely wine tasting with fantastic food. The hosts were super friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. After indicating that I had a gluten allergy, delicious gluten-free bread and dessert arrived, which was super nice and delicious. We took some wines with us to enjoy at home. Thank you ❤️
Patrick Balling
Awesome experience at Misko and Maja's winery in Godinije. They are both extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The snacks, the chocolate dessert, the wines and the multiple liquors you get at the end were all excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough.
