Biogradsko Lake

The lake is one of the most accessible natural attractions in Montenegro. A paved road leads directly to the lake, and there are well-marked walking trails around the lake and through the park. It is surrounded by dense forests and towering mountain peaks, creating a picturesque and serene environment

Rowboats and kayaks are available for rent, allowing visitors to explore the lake from the water. This is a peaceful way to enjoy the scenery and get closer to the lake's wildlife

Numerous hiking trails originate from Biogradsko Lake, ranging from the easy 3.5km path around the lake (~1h to complete) to more challenging hikes into the surrounding mountains

Near the lake, there are facilities such as a visitor center, picnic areas, restrooms, and a small restaurant. These amenities make it a convenient destination for a day trip

The lake is accessible by car from Kolašin. Public transportation options are limited, so renting a car or taking a taxi from Kolašin is recommended
