Cetinje Monastery

The monastery holds several significant relics such as the Shard of the True Cross (claimed to be a piece of the cross on which Jesus was crucified) and the mummified Right Hand of St. John the Baptist (believed to have travelled through Constantinople, Malta, Russia, and Serbia before arriving at Cetinje in 1978)

Admission to the monastery treasury costs €2 and is typically restricted to groups. It contains valuable items such as the jewel-encrusted crown of 14th-century Serbian king Stefan Uroš III Dečanski or a copy of the 1494 Oktoih, the first book printed in Serbian​​​​

Proper attire is required to enter the monastery, with scarves or wraps provided for those who need them
