Kolašin

Kolašin is renowned for its ski resorts, Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600 located 10 km further east. They offer 30 km of ski slopes suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced skiers. The ski season typically lasts from December to mid-April

The town is also a convenient base to explore the nearby Biogradska Gora National Park, the Mrtvica Canyon or the Morača Monastery during the summer period. There are also several marked hiking trails around Kolašin that lead into the Bjelasica Mountains. Popular trails include the 16km route through forests to Mt Ključ or the route to Zekova Glava and passing by Lake Pešića

The town center offers limited places of interest. Highlights include a privately owned botanical garden with a unique collection of indigenous mountain flora and medicinal herbs (to visit ask the tourist office to give him a call) and a museum showcasing local history, ethnography, and art

Kolašin is well-connected by the Bar–Podgorica–Belgrade railway and the main E80 road. The train station is 2 km east of the center, while the bus station is conveniently located near the town center
