Savina Monastery

The monastery is located about 2km east of Herceg Novi and is easily accessible by car or a short hike from the town center

The complex is made of 3 churches: the Small Church of the Assumption, the oldest part of the monastery housing frescoes, the Great Church of the Assumption, home to iconostasis and beautiful interior decorations, and the Church of St. Sava, located higher on the hill and offering stunning views over the bay and the surrounding area

There is a small shop where you can buy religious items, local wine produced by the monks, and other souvenirs. The nearby Savina winery offers guided vineyard and cellar visits as well as tastings
