The Žabljak Crnojevića Fortress is an abandoned medieval fortified town located on the confluence of the Morača river near Lake Skadar

The fortress offers scenic views over the surrounding region and Lake Skadar and is a great photography spot, especially at sunset

To get there, park beside the river in Žabljak Crnojevića and follow the road along the riverside to a dirt track that zig-zags up to the fortress. Be prepared for a bit of a hike, but it's relatively easy and takes about 10min

Apart from the fortress, there is nothing of real interest around the village. It is more of a stop on your way to visit the nearby Karuc village, the Pavlova Strana viewpoint or the Niagara Waterfall near Podgorica
