Mirror Beach

When the sea is calm, the sunlight hits the water at an angle that creates a brilliant, reflective glare, giving the beach its name. Because it has won "Best Beach" awards online, it is now victim to its own fame. In July and August, it is absolutely packed. Sunbeds are placed so close together that you are practically touching your neighbor

The 1.5km descent from the main SH81 road is notoriously bad. It is a steep, unpaved, dusty track filled with deep potholes and sharp rocks. If you have a low-clearance rental car, park at the top and walk down (15–20 minutes).

If Mirror Beach is too full, you can walk (or swim) around the rocks to the South to reach Shpella e Pëllumbave (Pigeon’s Cave), a smaller and often slightly quieter cove
