The beach sits at the foot of massive, hollowed-out cliffs. It feels far more dramatic and wild than the manicured resorts in nearby Ksamil. It consistently rivals Mirror Beach for the "bluest water in Albania" title

To reach the beach by land, you have to descend a series of steep, rusty, and often broken iron stairs. If you have a fear of heights or poor balance, do not attempt this. Many people park at the (slightly) more accessible Mirror Beach and walk around the northern rocks through the water. It’s usually waist-deep for an adult, but don't try it if the sea is choppy

The drive from the main highway is a bumpy, unpaved gravel nightmare. If you have a small rental car, you will likely scrape the bottom. Park at the top and hike the final 1.5km to save your deposit

Because the beach is squeezed between high rocks, the wind can funnel through and create massive, dangerous waves. If it’s even slightly windy, swimming becomes impossible and it's especially dangerous for small kids
