Skanderbeg Square is Tirana’s main public plaza, covering about 40,000 square meters. It features the statue of national hero Skanderbeg and is surrounded by the National History Museum, Et’hem Bey Mosque, and the Opera House, with open green spaces and frequent events

Tirana is easy to explore on foot, with many top sites free to visit, such as Skanderbeg Square, the Lake Park, the old bazar, some religious landmarks, and the Pyramid of Tirana. Paid attractions worth visiting include Bunk'Art 1 & 2, the House of Leaves as well as the cable car bringing you at the top of the Dajti mountain

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most comfortable times to visit Tirana, with mild temperatures ideal for walking, park visits, and exploring cultural sites.
