Mogren Beach

The beach is split into two parts: the Eastern part is more popular with younger visitors (Mogren I) while the western part is more family-oriented, featuring an inflatable aqua park (Mogren II). Both parts are connected by a tunnel through a cliff

The beach is accessible via a scenic footpath from Budva Old Town, and offers great views of the Adriatic Sea and old town. You’ll pass the Dancing Girl (Ballerina) statue on the way, an unofficial symbol of Budva

In July and August, Mogren is a victim of its own beauty and you'll be lucky if you find space to lay your towel in the afternoon. Also, because of the massive cliffs, Mogren falls into deep shade earlier than other beaches. By 3:30 PM or 4PM in summer, the sun disappears behind the rocks. If you want a tan, go in the morning!

The transition from sand to water is rocky and drops off quickly. Sea shoes are a very smart investment here to avoid stubbing a toe. It's not a sandy beach and made of very fine pebbles. It looks like sand in photos, but your feet will tell a different story!
