Roshnik is a picturesque agrotourism hub nestled in the rolling hills 12km east of Berat, celebrated for its sprawling vineyards, olive groves, and traditional stone architecture
Roshnik is the ancestral home of the Köprülü family, one of the most powerful political dynasties in the history of the Ottoman Empire; the family produced six Grand Viziers (the equivalent of Prime Ministers), including Köprülü Mehmed Pasha, who effectively ruled the Empire in the mid-17th century.
